Hear are a few more:
For teachers and writers
Places to publish students' writing. I'm often asked where students can submit their writing for possible publication.
Try some of these.
www.smartwriters.com is a great site for everyone who writes, reads, or teaches literature for kids. There's a wealth of great info here: a directory of authors' web sites, info for planning school visits, book talks, book reviews, resources for young writers, and much more.
Children's author, Cynthia Leitich Smith, has an amazing web site that's chock full of useful stuff. There are bibliographies by topic, reader resources, multicultural stuff, writing resources. You name it, she's got it. Take a look.
Writer, teacher, children's book fan, and all-around great blogger, Bruce Black, features some terrific insights into writing and children's books.
If you need a reason to waste your entire day or maybe just avoid running the vacuum cleaner, check out the bizarre, fun, and funky web site of children's book editor, Sharyn November. Warning: you may spend the rest of your day there and neglect your children, pets, and begonias.
